Germany approves the first human trial of corona virus vaccine.
Germany set for the human trial of corona virus vaccine. Thus, a clinical test of a COVID-19 vaccine in Germany has been approved, according to the country’s Federal Institute for Vaccines. A total of 200 healthy people between the ages of 18-55 are volunteering themselves for the test.
These participants will receive several variants of the vaccine developed by biotech company BioNTech. The scientists examine its efficacy in providing immunity against the virus.
Trial of BNT162
These tests will be conducted more than one person, including those at higher risk from the disease. The name of under trial vaccine is BNT162. Moreover, the company says that it is developing BNT162 in collaboration with pharmaceutical giant Pfizer.
The race is on to develop a vaccine that will help contain the spread of corona virus. The trial of BNT162 is also starting in United State of America. It will be after approval from authorities. Until now, corona virus is responsible for killing more than a hundred thousand people around the world and infecting millions.
The UK will begin a human trial of vaccine by this Thursday. Secretary Health Matt Hancock approves scientists at Oxford University to prepare for tests. Around 500 volunteers will be registering in programme by May. British government pledges £20 million for the research.
Although, China also claims for preparing vaccines but the Chinese government is yet to approve human testing by this month.
Since corona virus started from Wuhan City, China. A number of countries are planning to file a case against China. China is also preparing a vaccine in a Beijing based institution.
Globally, the vaccine is the only option to cure corona virus. The world economy can open if a vaccine is available to cure the corona virus patients.
Currently, Europe is under severe pressure due to increasing number of new cases and deaths every day. Thus, Germany set for the human trial of corona virus vaccine.
