Story of Fast Comet

Their journey began in 2013. They claim, “After almost ten years in the web hosting industry, our co-founders gathered a small team of four to start working on a new project called FastComet – a privately funded cPanel-based cloud hosting service provider with three key features in mind – support, security, and performance.”

Launching the first version of the FastComet website in 2014 with a limited product portfolio. Later, they were managing to sign their first big clients in 2014. This handful number of early adopters and risk-takers helped validate the concept behind small but ambitious project – an important period for every start-up!

From a small team of four in 2014, Fast Comet entered 2015 as a small company of fifteen people working in a tiny, overcrowded office. It was time to seize the moment and start scaling to meet the growing demand and customer base needs.

2016 was a year of change for them. A fresh new website, a brand new portfolio, 6 new datacenter locations strategically located around the world and a lot of new people joining the team. These were just a few things that changed in 2016 for them. By the end of the year, the company doubled both client base and employees.

In 2017, the company was voted number 1 host by multiple web hosting communities including HostAdvice! Additionally, FC introduced Observer monitoring system and a complete overhaul of the VPS, Dedicated and Shared hosting plans adding more resources and features.

In 2018, Fast Comet had 50,000 active clients, 2000+ cloud nodes and a team of 70 employees.
